Week Two

During the second week of quitting smoking my body really felt the absence of nicotine.  The physical symptoms during this week range from dizziness, fatigue and migraines.  On the upside my sense of smell and taste returns full swing.

Mentally this week became the beginnings to learn how to deal with life without cigarettes.

Day 8: 7 days; 14 hours; 41 minutes. Beat 114 cigarettes.  I have saved $28.55.  My nerve endings are still in repairs.  I really think my sense of taste and smell are returning.
  • Beat a craving today that was kind of tricky.
Day 9: 8 days; 12 hours; 42 minutes.  Beat 128 cigarettes.  I have saved $31.99.  Lots of nerve ending rejuvenation.
  • Learning how to live a new life.
Day 10: 9 days; 13 hours; 36 minutes.  Beat 144 cigarettes.  I have saved $35.88.  Still the nerve endings.
  • Ugh.  What a bummer of a day.  So sluggish and tired.  Blah.
Day 11: 10 days; 14 hours; 22 minutes.  Beat 159 cigarettes.  I have saved $39.75.  Nerve endings.
  • A blossom of new attitude about life and health?  I certainly hope so.
Day 12: 11 days; 14 hours; 4 minutes.  Beat 174 cigarettes.  I have saved $43.45.  Nerve endings - I've got a lot of nerve quitting!  Hah!
  • Started a new book about nicotine addiction.  Pretty interesting so far.  Not dizzy or as tired today.
Day 13: 12 days; 12 hours; 34 minutes.  Beat 188 cigarettes.  I have saved $46.96.  Still those nerve endings.
  • Migraine tonight.  Not much of a post because my head hurts to much to concentrate.  Better day tomorrow.
Day 14: 13 days; 13 hours; 37 minutes.  Beat 204 cigarettes.  I have saved $50.88.  You guessed it - nerve endings are regenerating.
  • Understanding how to deal with anger and depression without a nicotine stimulant is pretty confusing.
